About Mobi Wireless
Mobi Wireless was started in August 2002 by Gary Cousins & Patrick Vine.
Having worked for 9 years with Siemens Telecommunications, Gary has a broad knowledge of telecommunications systems. He was responsible for the launch of 2 major South African Internet Service Provider networks and has worked on Mobile Internet projects over the past 3 years. He is a frequent speaker at Internet and Telecommunications conferences.
Having worked for two and half years for Microsoft in Redmond, WA, working on Windows 2000, Windows Me and Windows XP, Patrick has a broad knowledge of the computing industry. Patrick first wrote software and then worked as the connectivity program manager working for the Windows Printing and Imaging team. Patrick has worked on international committees such as the Bluetooth Printing working group and the Universal Plug and Play forum and has been closely involved in designing specifications.
